'Now Purple With Love's Wound'

Enjoying the Spring sun in one of my new Zara knit sweaters. Love the $19 price tag; hate that it snags very easily. Still, it's a great buy, and I love the peek-a-boo cut-out in the back. Paired it with my purple, cotton voile skirt for a little play on texture. Perfect combo for those not-so-warm/not-so-cool Spring days.

'[Grey] Will Bear No Color..., Fashion It Thus'

Yup, I've figured that the only thing that will get me through this Fall and Winter is bright colors!
Bought this sweater at H&M recently and it really is fantastic. Got it a few sizes bigger so that there'd be a subtle slouch and also bought it in black and taupe - my absolute go-to sweaters.

The scarf is an Asos purchase, and not only is it super warm and thick, it fulfills the color quotient quite beautifully.

'If He Be Married, My Grave is Like To Be My Wedding Bed'

The BF and I have a thing for old graveyards.  We'll pull over if we see a particularly creepy one and just walk through the tombs for a visit and read the dates on headstones.  Our weird way of getting a bit of history but also it's so sad sometimes to see a whole family buried side by side and to read the inscription of 'beloved daughter, 1821-1822'  There were so many headstones that read that way.

So we took out the camera and decided to pay homage to the dead.

By the way, first gave you guys a glimpse of this dress here.  Don't really wear it that much though because it's sooooo delicate!

'Be Innocent of The Knowledge, Dearest Chuck'

My first attempt at shooting this outfit was met by an onslaught of sneezing, followed by the annoyance of watery, itchy eyes so, alas, I had to abort and go inside. Here's me on my couch pissed that allergy season isn't over yet.
My next attempt was two days later, and after being inspired by some of you ladies showing off your Chuck's, I decided to forgo the JC Suebees, dig through my closet, pull mine out of their box and go with them instead!

What color are your Chuck's? And are you a high-top or low-top kinda girl or go you both ways?

A BIG howdy do to all my new readers!
Loving the love, the love, the love!!

Met up with Marcela of Times Like Mine and her fiance when they were in the city a couple of weeks ago.  Even though it was only for an hour, since that's all the time my job would allow, we had a great time getting to know each other a little better!  It's great meeting the person behind the blog, and I especially LOVE meeting out-of-town bloggers! And she brought me a big bag of gummy bears and a box of chocolates from Germany...which I devoured as soon as I got home :)  Thanks, Marcela!!

About a week before meeting up with Marcela, I was in H&M (just browsing, mind you) on a lunch break when I got a tap on my shoulder! I turned around and there was Jerrica of Fashion Nostalgia. It was soooo fun and exciting to meet her like that!

And finally, I'd like to thank Joice of Love Joice for awarding me the Kreativ and Versatile Blog Awards!  Check out her blog ladies and show her some love!
