'...Go To Bed After Midnight...'

I'm in LOVE with these shorts from One Teaspoon! They're a tad bit too big, but that's not a problem. They're so darn short, they need to be a bit baggy. They dangle before me when I do my squats and lay next to me so I can dream of long, lazy, hot summer days!   They're perfect for the beach over a bikini bottom, but for non-beach wear, I'll layer them over some cute lace trim bicycle shorts. Mama can't be going around exposing her bum cheeks in broad daylight! (Yes, I refer to myself sometimes as Mama...and I have absolutely no explanation as to why either...)

'Too Much of a Good Thing'

It's getting just warm enough to go bare-legged for nights out, so I'm getting as much wear out of this Zara sweater (worn here and here) before it's time to put it away. I'll miss it, but not really! Heat trumps cold any day!

Loving my Marc by Marc Jacobs Sasha bag - I wore it practically all Winter long. The dove grey is so gorgeous, and it's neutrality makes it perfect with everything. The problem is denim or anything dark rubs off on it, so now the back of the bag is a lil greenish (yeah, green, don't ask me why it decided to turn green...) in color. Anyhoo, it still remains one of my fav bags since I can throw everything in it (including my big butt camera), and one of my best scores on eBay! One of these days, I'll take it to get re-dyed.

Any of you ladies ever had a bag dyed, and if you're in the NYC area, any good places I should know about?

'Some [Archers] Kill With Arrows, Some With [Sandals]'

I LOVE black leather and gold metal combos, so I'm going to get so much use out of these sandals in the summer time. Remember these here? The DV Archer sandals are awesome because you can dress them up (even though they're flats) or you can throw them on with a pair of denim cutoffs and a tank!

Thank you to DV for sending me these gorge sandals. I'll be guest blogging on their site so be sure to check out dvstyle.com!

'...And I As Rich In Having Such a Jewel'

It's not my birthstone (mine is the diamond btw.  Yup, I'm an April baby and an Aries woot woot...) but there's just something about the warm caramel, syrupy color of citrine stones that I've always loved.

Anjolee.com, a jewelry site based in San Diego, was kind enough to offer me a choice between these white gold stud earrings, this diamond stud, or these diamond studs. I went with the first choice, and out of all the gem choices, it was citrine, hands down, with the blue sapphire coming in a close second.

The high-end jewelry manufacturer has been known for their diamond jewelry since 1977, and all of their pieces are custom made, can be tailored according to metal type, diamond/gem size, and you can choose the quality and any specific length.

Check out their site, and have fun playing with the customize options which lets you create a unique piece of jewelry that fits your style and your budget!

'...We Three Meet Again'

I combined the three most favorite pieces in my wardrobe right now: the Zara floral print blouse, Free People's vegan leather pant and Jeffrey Campbell's Starburst boots!

After a year and a half of searching, being two months on back order, receiving them in the WRONG size and exchanging them for a size up, I finally have these studded babies on my feet! They look a hell of a lot like the Chloe Susan boots here but for about $1,000 less. And hey, any day I can save $1,000 is a good day in my book!

'Come, You Spirits That Tend on Mortal Thoughts, Unsex Me Here'

Since I thought yesterday was today and posted the Instagram shots a day early (duhduh, Amy), you guys are gonna get an extra post from me this week :)  Thanks for all your cool comments on that post by the way! I'm so glad you like my candid kinda everyday shots!

So, for the longest time, I've wanted over-the-knee boots but couldn't find a pair that didn't make me feel like a street-walker. Found this pair at Victoria's Secret, and since they have a pretty basic silhouette, are flats and just skim the top of my knee, I took the chance and bought them. Vickies also has them in a gorgeous brown, but I exercised some self-control (yes, occasionally it wins out) and just went with the black pair.

What think ye ladies of the over-the-knee boot?
