'O Limed [Sweater]'

Love the lemon/lime color of this cashmere top (there's a green undertone in person). Grabbed it while rushing out the door and love how it pops against the black leather. Also getting lots of use out of my Minkoff Mac! Really want this lime color now too!

'A Blinking Idiot'

Since my metabolism has seemed to slow down (damn you age. Damn you), I've had to give away most of my work pants because they've shrunk in size...ahem... These Alice & Olivia High waist pants are perfect for work because they're not boring and are appropriate enough for client meetings even though I'll be the brightest one in the conference room.

The Bloomies salesgirl and I both gawked, then blinked at the register when they were rung up (check out the price below)! Bought them in a dark wine color as well and for Spring and Summer, I want this color, this color and this color too!

This pink leather jacket was also a steal from Bloomingdale's a couple of years back. Well, perhaps not as great a steal as the pants... You can't really tell from the pictures, but it's got great distressing and will age beautifully. At some ungodly price of I think $800, I got it down to $215. Last one, in my size, I couldn't resist...never mind that I can barely get it to close now...(damn you age. Damn you)...

What I'm Wearing:
Alice & Olivia High Waist Pants via Bloomingdale's
              Orig. Price: $198.00
              Paid: $31.00
Top: JCrew
Leather Jacket: Domo via Bloomingdale's
JCrew: Leopard Fedora
Zara Sequin Clutch
Belt: JCrew

Hope you ladies have a wonderful Valentine's Day with either yourselves or your significant others!

'One [Cardigan] Is Gold, Another Is Silver'

Can't believe I contemplated returning this cardigan after walking for miles (going to three H&M stores), and rudely reaching over the woman who was about to reach for the last one when I finally did find it. After deciding to keep it on principal, I've now fallen madly in love with its molten, metallic look! And it's warm!

Incidentally, H&M currently has the same sweater in gold.

Oh, and this is what I wore to my office holiday party. Of course you who follow my twitter page know this ;)

'Some Beauty Peeped Through Lattice of Seared Age'

I don't usually buy things at full price, but this All Saints sweater dress was one of my exceptions.  My excuse to myself: I fell in love with the detailing!  My excuse to the BF: You get your money's worth since it can be worn as a dress and a sweater...(blink, blink)

Wore it with my fav leather skirt that I've worn here, here and here.

I was interviewed at the IFB Conference for Magnum Ice Cream's “Doses of Decadence” video series.

'It Droppeth as The Gentle Rain From Heaven'

First shots using my new tripod and BOY is it much easier than balancing my SLR baby on the hood of my car (and of course it was RAINING when I did this).
So many spots have opened up for me where I can kinda just trek to away from the eyes of nosy people.  Wish I could find a remote for my camera but as for now, I'll still have to run and pose in time for the automatic shutter release but it's all good!

How do you ladies usually take your blog pics?

What I'm Wearing:
Top: JCrew
Skirt: Alice & Olivia (worn here and here)
Rings: Made Her Think
Necklace: Cara Accessories (DIY chain; replaced the ribbon it originally came with)

'Be Innocent of The Knowledge, Dearest Chuck'

My first attempt at shooting this outfit was met by an onslaught of sneezing, followed by the annoyance of watery, itchy eyes so, alas, I had to abort and go inside. Here's me on my couch pissed that allergy season isn't over yet.
My next attempt was two days later, and after being inspired by some of you ladies showing off your Chuck's, I decided to forgo the JC Suebees, dig through my closet, pull mine out of their box and go with them instead!

What color are your Chuck's? And are you a high-top or low-top kinda girl or go you both ways?

A BIG howdy do to all my new readers!
Loving the love, the love, the love!!

Met up with Marcela of Times Like Mine and her fiance when they were in the city a couple of weeks ago.  Even though it was only for an hour, since that's all the time my job would allow, we had a great time getting to know each other a little better!  It's great meeting the person behind the blog, and I especially LOVE meeting out-of-town bloggers! And she brought me a big bag of gummy bears and a box of chocolates from Germany...which I devoured as soon as I got home :)  Thanks, Marcela!!

About a week before meeting up with Marcela, I was in H&M (just browsing, mind you) on a lunch break when I got a tap on my shoulder! I turned around and there was Jerrica of Fashion Nostalgia. It was soooo fun and exciting to meet her like that!

And finally, I'd like to thank Joice of Love Joice for awarding me the Kreativ and Versatile Blog Awards!  Check out her blog ladies and show her some love!
