'The Most Unkindest Cut of all'...

...is the price cut that just doesn't happen. When I first saw this dress, I fell in love with the skirt and yes, I know it's just a striped gray and cream, but there was someting about it that I loved. I wasn't too crazy about the top part - lets face it, who wants a huge flower plastered across one's huge boobies. So I decided to wait until it was marked down. Unfortunately, the sizes started to sell out quickly, so I decided to do the unthinkable! Yes, ladies, I purchased it full price (and it wasn't even something I absolutely loved)...

that is till now. After a couple of wears and tons of compliments, it has grown on me like mold and I absolutely adore this dress. Sometimes, just sometimes, my fellow shopahaulics, it pays to gamble. You may just find that the article of clothing becomes your most adored item and something you could not live without!

  1. I found your blog through Adiaphane and you mentioned the skirt you got from the Lucky magazine, can you tell me where I can find the orange skirt?

I was looking through your old posts, you have great taste in clothes.

  2. Sure Annie, I found it at Kaight (212-680-5630). It's in NY at 83 Orchard Street. Also you might try Bird in Williamsburg Brooklyn (they are supposed to be getting in a fresh new batch) or try going to http://www.whit-ny.com and email the girls at Whit and ask them specifically where you can get the skirt in the color you want (it comes in Navy, Gray and Rust) and your size. That's how I ultimately found mine. It is such a cute skirt. You'll really love it! Thanks so much for checking out my blog!!!

  3. Thanks for getting back to me so soon. Can you suggest any size recommendations? I'm usually a size 4 at Anthro, is it tts?

  4. Oh god no! I am a 2/4 in Anthro dresses and I took an 8 in that skirt. It runs SUPER small. Not sure who they used for a fit model but geesh! I would say try an 8 or a 10. Sadly, I took the last 8 at Kaight although they may get some more in. But def. try the 10. If they didn't have an 8, I would have taken the 10 and it would have fit fine (that's just how small the skirt runs)!
