This is by far one of my favorite dresses from Anthropologie. Last year I went on an absolute dress buying binge since I deemed my closet to be shockingly lacking in dresses. Wasn't sure about this one at first when I saw it on-line. Then I 'happened' to be in the store, saw it on the rack and I knew we were not to be parted!
(photos by N. Willock)
Found this beautiful bed of flowers on the side of the road. Don't know what they are and doesn't really matter. They could be weeds for all I know and they'd still look as pretty!
Any of you ladies know the names of the blooms that surround me?
What I'm Wearing:
Anthropologie Subcontinent Dress
Hat: Free people
Necklaces: Maslo Design - Black Dahlia, JCrew
Rings: YSL, A Peace Treaty, NYC Vendor
Pin It
so beautiful pictures i like ur dress and necklace ......

oh! i am in love with the dress, the hat and everything! great photos :)))
ReplyDeleteCockscomb is their common name. They are a member of the amaranth family. Pretty, aren't they? They always remind me of coral, or brains, or something a Victorian scientist would keep under glass. They dry very well, and keep their color for several years. My mum had them in her wedding bouquet.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is scrumptious! Love those colors together, and the beaded waist is perfect.
Beautiful!Love the skirt, it looks great matched with the orange top!
