Wore this outfit to go and google at the Alexander McQueen exhibit on Saturday (wanted to finally catch it before it closed). Got there at 9pm, waited in the rain and through starvation for about an hour and a half only to finally break through the museum doors to find the line snaking a couple of times in the lobby, up the steps then around the balcony. Turned right around and went for dinner and some drinks. C'est la vie!
Did you ladies catch it? Was it absolutely breathtaking?
What I'm Wearing:
Tube Dress: Victoria's Secret
Maxi Cardigan: All Saints (also worn here)
Belt: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Sam Edelman
Neclaces: JCrew, Etsy
Rings: YSL, A Peace Treaty, NYC Vendor
Bag: Alexander Wang Diego
Pin It
Amazing maxi cardigan. I sadly missed out on the exhibit too! Can you freaking believe it I was right across the park! I went during the week only to find the line closed all other opportunities were lost due to life :-( Hope they bring it back once more.

Love your long cardigan...that is really stunning! I wish I had the opportunity to attend the McQueen exhibit! Love your handbag :)
ReplyDeletelove the idea of a long cardi over a short dress. i actually got the idea from the VS catalog, and realized i had the pieces in my own closet! yours is dramatically longer, and i LOVE that!
ReplyDelete[oomph.]
I saw the exhibit a week or so after it opened. We had to wait on line for 90 min. Once we got in, it was packed. You could barely move. The attendants kept trying to rush everyone through it. That being said, it was amazing. Being inches away from MCQueen's best work was breathtaking. It was more than worth the hassle.
ReplyDelete(ps- love that cardigan! Great outfit)

I caught the McQueen show...it moved me to the core! Such a tortured soul. His pieces are not only fashion but works of art. The loss is insurmountable.
