This dress alone is too short for work, so I did the next best thing! Layer, layer, layer! Cinched in the waist with a skinny belt for a bit of shape, and I got loads of compliments on it all day. Threw on a thin, long black cardigan for good measure while indoors, but while out and enjoying the warm weather, I left it on the back of my chair!
Do you guys conform to office attire or do you push the envelope just a tad bit?

The skirt is so delicate. I like this subtle look!
ReplyDeleteBeing someone who works in a creative space its easier to push the envelope, but when I had a strict government job I def stayed away from the racy stuff- I would always get weird looks on my nail polish though. I never compromised the "fun" colors I loved!

ReplyDeleteI work in a business casual environment, but I like to push the envelope just a bit. No major cleavage or Ally McBeal length skirts, but I will definitely bathe the office in some major color or work in a trendy piece if I can.

Why on earth do I not get such ideas :( My dressing sense is so boring at times that I get all grumpy. Some days it is fun, some days it isn't. And, short dresses, I rarely wear. I need to hone my skills and make most of wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteThat's when all you wonderful fashion bloggers help me think beyond it all :D
