'I Shall Miss Thee'

Figured I'd get some wear out of my fav faux leather pants before the temps rise. Paired them this time with this Free People top I got from Lord & Taylor on sale for about $30. Found it randomly laying on the floor beneath a clearance rack and remembered that it was originally around $100. Love the cropped sides, the linen/cotton material but mostly of course I love the sequin placket!

The print is bold and perfect for Spring, and at a $15 price tag, I don't care how many bloggers have them! Besides, it's not about how many people have them, it's about how you make them your own!

'Yet Herein Will I Imitate the Sun'

Saw this photo in an issue of Lucky Mag., and for some reason it really caught my attention. So I decided to copy the styling completely. I usually like to put my own twist on inspiration, but this styling had everything that I love: layers, neon, pink and black and white! Plus, it was cold out when I was flipping through the magazine, so I guess the bright yellow sweater and the mint skirt sang 'hallelujah' to me!

'In My Heart of Hearts'

Here's my mixed prints in action (see me talk about it here and here). This outfit was so fun and not only because of the cute heart pattern on the pants and the bright pops of pink but because I stepped outside my comfort zone and LOVED it. I can't stress to you more, ladies: have fun with your clothes! Why the hell not?!

I first saw these pants in an issue of Lucky Mag. I fell in love with the print (and also how they were styled - will post an exact copy of that style later), so I waited for them to hit the stores and bought them (like a lamb to the slaughter, I know).

When I got them though, I couldn't help think that they were just an expensive pair of silk pajama pants. Still, their cuteness won out and I kept them. They fit really well and are super soft and yes, super cute!
