'Give Me My Robe, Put on My [Hat]'

I've decided to refresh my wardrobe (and to quell my shopping angst) with the purchases of hats and scarves.  And so far, it seems to be working.  This is the second hat I've bought and I must say I love it.  I wasn't really a hat person before, but this winter, in all of its brutality, has forced me to cover my noggin'.  Also, I think cute fedoras are the answer to my hair dilemma this summer for driving in the BF's jeep wrangler sans top!

What do you guys think about hats?  Love em, hate em or indifferent?

Scored these Coach lovelies for $90 after much back and forth.  But sooooo worth it!  Silly me should have nabbed them in black as well.

Wearing my first ever Coach bag that my mom gave me for my 16th birthday. I'd say it's aged well over the past 17 years!  Been in love with Coach ever since!

Two years ago, I was on a quest to find the perfect color Pashmina scarf.  So of course I hit my usual places - Bloomies, Saks - and all were, of course, priced well above $150.  Thankfully, I ran across this pretty color while at a street fair and proudly handed over my $4.00!  It looks beautiful, washes beautifully and I get lots of compliments on it!  Now if I can just find the perfect Kelly Green color....

Would appreciate it if you guys would also follow me on Bloglovin'!  Let me know when you do and I'll gladly return the favor!

'What's Gone and What's Past Help'

As I confessed earlier, I have failed miserably at my New Year's resolution of not spending.  Riddled with guilt, I decided then to amend my first idea, and give myself a certain budget within the month to spend on clothes.  That has since gone out the window (especially since I have used up July's budget).  Maybe next year.  What can I say, I am past help.
Anyhoo, as a slight pat on my shoulder, nothing in this post is new (except for the thigh highs but those were only 7 bucks and that really doesn't count).  I've had the dress, coat, and boots for a couple of years so at least I do keep the things I buy and get good mileage out of my money, right.  Points scored.

How are you guys coming along with your new year's resolutions??

...'It Is An Ever-Fixed Mark...'

...Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken...

'Lace the Severing Clouds in Yonder East'

It seems the long sheer maxi is going to be quite the staple for spring and summer and since I plan to up my collection of everything long, I decided to jump on the band wagon. (Especially after seeing Samantha wear something like it on an episode of Bewitched). And so instead of waiting for the weather to get warmer, I braved the night air and shot it right out of the Asos package. Impatient much!?
