'This Thing of [Cuteness]'

Since I bought my vintage Razza Elephant necklace (first worn here), I've been sort of obsessed with his pieces.  This giraffe necklace has been a bit harder to get my hands on and it is a bit  more expensive, but I finally scored it on eBay and I REALLY love it!  Not sure which I love more, the elephant or the giraffe.  Which one do you guys like the best?

It's just been waaaaaaaaaay too cold in NY/NJ to take pictures outside (sorrow). So for now, I'll be snapping pics wherever I can indoors. BTW, don't you just love it when people stare at you while you're posing for pics?

Oh and as an aside, I'm sort of cheating on my new year's resolution.  I'm spending.  But I'm sure you all weren't holding me to that promise (sheepishly smiling).  So I'm sort of revising it and putting myself on a sort of spending diet instead of starving cold turkey.  There's just too many cute things coming out for spring that are selling out fast....so what's a girl to do?  (Besides, it's an investment in my blog, right?)

The BF can be quite hilarious sometimes.  He'll read fashion magazines on a whim then bring me home the cutouts of what he thinks would look good on me.  This was one of said cutouts.  I'm not quite sure why he feeds my shopping frenzy, just to frown upon my purchases later.  Babe, you wouldn't bring an alcoholic to a bar now would you?  And so to appease him, I make sure to let him see how many uses I'll get out of it to which he smiles, shakes his head and continues the cycle.  Love ya babes : )

'Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On' - S/S '11

I will definitely continue my love for all things studded or sequined come Spring and Summer!

Long silhouettes will become a staple in my closet again. Oh and that pretty coral lip is a must!

I don't usually do trendy pieces but the sheer skirt thing is a keeper!

I'll be striping it up big time! And mixing them with both delicate and bold floral pieces.

Mixing funky patterns and colors will continue to keep me out of my safe zone!

My color staple will be orange!

Went for a drive in the bf's new Jeep Wrangler (boy are we going to have fun in the summer with the top down and doors off!!!)  Anyway, he decided he liked all that was going on with my outfit so he insisted I shoot some pictures.  So here I am in a mish mash of clothes but super warm and super comfy.

'Through Tattered Clothes, Small Vices Do Appear...Robes and Fur'd [Coats] Hide All'

Found my first vintage fur on Etsy!  I am in absolute love!  I was somewhat skeptical about buying such an old fur on-line (it's from the 1950's!) without looking at it first, but the pictures showed an absolutely gorgeous coat so I gambled.  It is so soft and so completely warm!  I get sooo many compliments on it.  SCORE!
