Yup, I've figured that the only thing that will get me through this Fall and Winter is bright colors! 

Bought this sweater at H&M recently and it really is fantastic. Got it a few sizes bigger so that there'd be a subtle slouch and also bought it in black and taupe - my absolute go-to sweaters.

The scarf is an Asos purchase, and not only is it super warm and thick, it fulfills the color quotient quite beautifully.

'She Did Praise My [Shirt], Being Cross-Gartered'

Decided to shoot some blog pics just before me and the BF hauled our Thanksgiving food contributions from my car up to my mom's apartment. The weather was strangely and wonderfully warmish for November and all that was required to stay warm was a sweater and some tights.

Am in absolute love with this cross shirt. Saw it on a fellow blogger and couldn't believe I had missed it during my daily perusing of Asos. Luckily it was still available so I snagged it. The gold cross embroidering is brilliant!

'The Worms Were Hallow’d That Did Breed The Silk'

Picked up this chunky knit scarf from H&M. It's extra thick, ultra warm and was only $12!  So glad I didn't chuck it after waiting in line for FOREVER!

Paired it with a super old turtleneck and this beautiful silk skirt I thrifted in the summer (that also cost me $12 ).  Love the seams, love the color, love the flow.

Loved that I got a chance to preview the upcoming Sam Edelman '12 Spring collection last week. Some of the shoes you may be familiar with already, but they'll be rolling out in gorgeous new colors like turquoise, fuchsia or leopard print and I'm also loving that there's still a good dose of spikes and studs!
