Free People has really been my favorite brand this season. I walked into their store on a lunch hour and saw this tattered and destroyed sweater tank and knew I needed it for my FP sheer. Now I wish I would have gotten it in navy as well :(
My hat's off to you ladies who I've seen do this tank DIY. Everytime my scissors went near an old sweater, I chickened out...
I was thrilled to find out that Urban Outfitters has launched Designed by: which is a UO collaboration and some pretty awesome designers (one of which is my favorite - A Peace Treaty). The collab line is called Aleph and this fringe necklace is one of the many pieces. It sells for a fraction of the cost and still looks and feels like the original brand!
What I'm Wearing:
Destroyed Tank: Free People
Orig. Price: $88.00
Paid: $49.99
Sheer Maxi: Free People
Belt: Donna Karan (gifted from an intern stint)
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Orig. Price: $188.00
Paid: $131.00
Hat: Free People
Rings: Carol Marie Dome Ring, NYC Street Vendors
Necklaces: Aleph by A Peace Treaty, Forever21 Suede Pouchette
Skeleton Fish Earrings: Purchased in Bali
Skeleton Fish Earrings: Purchased in Bali
More goodies I'm coveting from Free People:

Great outfit. The skirt is so sexy and femenine, and you look awesome with the hat.
ReplyDeleteXX.
Love the sweater and how you paired it with the sheer maxi. I remember a similar tattered sweater I saw yeeeears ago in Nordstrom. I left without it, but called later to order it. Come to find out, the girl was new and had no idea what she was doing. Let's just say my sweater never came and I missed out. PISSED.

Oh, you are looking impeccable yet again! I always admire it when I see someone wearing something shredded, but I have yet to try the trend myself. And that sheer maxi is just GORGEOUS, it shows off those amazing heels of yours so well! (And yes, those wide-leg jeans are incredible.)

Nonetheless, you're awesome and we're both big fans!:)
