I've had this skirt for at least 10 years and have just now decided to wear it.  I love it and can't BELIEVE I haven't worn it till now.  It's a tad bit small so now, instead of it sitting on my natural waist, I kinda have to hike it up a bit to where it'll close comfortably.  But I've got the perfect solution - crop tops!

'How Poor They Are That Have Not Patience!'

I must have waited a whole year for these Chelsea's to go on sale.  It was a matter of principal, afterall!  Every other shoe on Free People's website went on sale except these cuties.  Well, I was not to be bested so I played a good old fashion staring down game with Miz Chelsea, and finally, around April, I won!  They finally went on sale and not a moment too soon!  I bought one of the last 7's!  Ah, victory is sweet!

'Thou Art a Votary to Fond Desire'

...and boy did I desire this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag!  I saw it on a girl in the street one day in July while on my lunch hour and practically ran back to the office to peruse store websites for it.  Bloomingdales seemed to be my only hope but after calling EVERY Bloomies store in the nation, (yes, I'm nuts like that) found, to my chagrin, the bag  to be sold out.  I could not believe I missed out on so fabulous a bag!

Anyhoo, I turned to my next trusty source: eBay.  It took some time (especially since I wanted this cement color) but I finally found it, bid on it, and now it's mine!  It was fairly new and still has that wonderful new leather smell!  Oh genious bag!  It holds absolutely EVERYTHING!  And as a bonus, I snagged this ultra toasty Diesel sweater : )

'All that Glisters is not Gold...'

...it's the next best thing - the faux gold lurex thread in this fabulous shirt!  From the moment I saw this Diane Von Furstenberg top, I knew I had to make it mine. And it just so happened that I saw it 'around' my birthday, and in the spirit of 'it's my birthday', made it one of many purchases for that occasion. To my joy, not only did I have a trusty coupon to complete the transaction, the salesgirl declared that all DVF was 15% off that day on top of the Bloomies discount I had in my arsenal. Now if that wasn't a sign, I don't know what is!
